Özgür & Ünüvar is delighted to announce that Yunus Emre Bakiler has joined our firm as Partner

Yunus Emre holds a BA in Law from Bilkent University and an LL.M. from the University of Aberdeen. He joined Özgür & Ünüvar after spending more than nine years at Yazıcı Attorney Partnership. Yunus Emre acts as buy-side and sell-side legal counsel for local and international company acquisitions and advises clients on both day-to-day and extraordinary corporate governance issues. He also assists potential Investors, in Turkey and abroad, on the best methods to structure their investments and to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations, with a particular emphasis on start-ups. He also represents clients in courts and international arbitration proceedings for corporate and commercial disputes.

With this, it is with utmost excitement and anticipation that we also change the name of our practice to Özgür Ünüvar Bakiler Attorney Partnership as of May 2021. We look forward to serve our growing local and foreign clients with the practical experience and know-how on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, competition law and compliance brought by Yunus Emre.
